Japanese star Takuya Kimura finally got to meet Korean star Lee Byung-hun in Pusan, Korea.
The 2 Asian stars will star in movie “Heroes,” a remake of popular same title Japanese drama starring Takuya Kimura and Takako Matsu.
Takako is in Korea for the filming as well… but Takuya is always the center of attention wherever he goes.
Based on popular TV drama Hero (2001); the same title movie is currently filming in Yokohama.
Takuya Kimura and Takako Matsu is starring in the movie, as well as all the main cast from the TV drama 6 years ago. With the successful drama ratings, this is one of the most anticipated movies of the year in Japan.
Japan heartthrob Takuya Kimura seems to be back to his old best with his recent movie and TV drama success.
His latest TV drama Karei-naru Ichizoku started showing in Japan on Jan 14 and tops the rating chart for 2 weeks in a role; while his movie Bushi no Ichibun (pic) is doing well in box-office and is invited to Berlim Film Festival for exhibition too.
Takuya Kimura has been one of the most influential Japanese artists in Asia for the past decade; he faced some career’s mini-crisis for the past couple of years, but it seems that he is winning back his fans again in 2007.
