Korean actress Song Hye-kyo is going to debut in United States with an independent movie, Fetish.
Directed by Sohn Su-beom, the movie is a psychological thriller about a woman who has unusual skills. Song will play opposite Arno Frisch, who played the lead in Funny Game.
Fetish is a low-budget independent movie, but to Song it will serve as a springboard for her advancement to the US because she will say 80 percent of her lines in English.
The movie’s casting director, Susan Shopmaker, said she chose Song because she liked her Asian yet Western image. She added that the movie will reveal a new side of the actress.
Song’s agency said the actress’s role in the movie will hopefully secure her a spot in the global film industry.

KBS has announced the making of season 2 for popular Korean drama Full House.
Full House was released in 2004 and is one of the most popular Korean drama ever; and made the already famous cast, Rain and Song Hye-kyo, to the new height of their career.
It is reported that the script of the sequel is in progress, but the director and the main cast have not been decided yet.

According to a recent Korean survey… Song Hye-kyo is voted the artist with the most beautiful breast.
The survey was done with 15,537 person about ‘whose breast do they envy the most’, and Song Hye-kyo is top of the list with 3,462 (22.2% votes).
2nd place goes to veteran actress Kim Hye-su; while newly wed Han Chae-young was 3rd.

The poster is for movie Hwang Jinyi (Hye-kyo the leading actress), which is scheduled to premiere in June 6.

Famous Korean stars, actor Kwong Sang-woo and actress Song Hye-kyo have confirmed to attend this weekend’s (Apr 15) Hong Kong Film Awards as award presenters.
Seems like it’s becoming a trend for Hong Kong Film Awards to invite Korean stars as award presenters; last year it was Jun Ji-hyun if not mistaken.
