Chinese singer Chris Li Yuchun is set to hold her debut Taiwan concert on May 16. It’s a rarity that China mainland artist could get an approval from Taiwan authorities to hold a solo concert.
It’s reported that Yuchun will be bringing along a few Supergirl contestants (Yuchun was the winner) to the concert; and Taiwanese artists Tank and 5566 will be special guests.

China Supergirl 2005 winner and now popular singer, Chris Li Yuchun is set to perform on stage at Las Vegas Aladdin Theatre on Valentine’s eve.
Super Girl 2006 winner Shang Wenjie is sorting to end her contract with Tianyu, which holds the Super Girl’s contract by default.
Shang Wenjie didn’t reveal her reasons for leaving Tianyu, but it’s believed to be the ineffectiveness of the company for promoting her popularity and music career.
Shang Wenjie also didn’t mention her future plans, but it’s said that she could be retiring from music industry if she is not getting an offer from established recording company… that is IF she managed to break free from her current contract.
China pop star Li Yuchun led a team of China Super Girls to hold a concert in Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Hong Kong on Tuesday (Jan 2).
Yuchun was the 2005 winner of the popular China Super Girls singing competition; while Shang Wenjie is the latest winner in 2006. Both of them and a dozen of other Super Girls finalists entertained a full house of 3600 audience at the stadium.
