China actress Vicki Zhao Wei and veteran actor Zhang Fengyi have both confirmed to star in Hong Kong director John Woo’s movie Battle of the Red Cliff.

Korean actor Jung Woo-sung and Japanese actor Ken Watanabe are rumoured to join the cast of mega-movie Red Cliff.
Directed by international renowned John Woo, and with the production cost of USD50 million, one of the highest in Asian movie history; Red Cliff is seen as one of the most anticipated movie in 2007.
Already in the cast are Chow Yun Fat, Tony Leung, Lin Chi Ling, Chang Chen, and now with the joining of Jung Woo-sung and Ken Watanabe; we can’t blame the press and movie fans for being excited with Red Cliff.
