There are rumours that China popular actress Fan Bingbing is setting up her own agency and will sign Supergirl contest 2006 winner Shang Wenjie as her first star.
Fan Bingbing has just ended her 6-year contract with Huayi Brothers and decided not to renew her contract which could tie her for another 3-4 years.
Fan Bingbing herself has denied the rumours of signing Shang Wenjie. She also stated that her decision for not renewing her contract with Huayi is simply to take a break and to rethink her future, and the previous contract was honoured gracefully.
She didn’t deny the possibility of setting up her own company though; she already showed her entrepreneurship in opening a talent school a couple years back.
The main casts and crews for movie Battle of Wits were in Japan to promote the movie, that include director Jacob Cheung, Hong Kong actor Andy Lau, China actress Fan Bingbing and Korean actor Ahn Sung-kee.
