Bae Yong-joon’s latest drama to premiere in September

Legend of the First King’s Four Gods, the latest Korean drama from popular actor Bae Yong-joon, is set to premiere on September 10.

After continous delay (original schedule was on June 25), MBC has finally announced the date for the anticipated series to start showing.

The drama is based on the epic story of the first emperor in Korea; it is Bae’s first TV drama since 2002.

Bae and Choi are made famous with TV drama Winter Sonata a few years ago, and still remain popular.

Lee Byung-hun and Kwon Sang-woo are ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively at the male’s poll; where as Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Young-ae are 2nd and 3rd in the female’s poll.

Bae Yong-joon in First King Four GodsLegend of First King’s Four Gods, the latest TV drama from popular Korean actor Bae Yong-joon is scheduled to air in Korea and Japan on June 25.

This is Yon-sama (Bae’s nickname) first TV drama since the popular hit Winter Sonata in 2002, and is one of the most anticipated Korean drama in 2007.

The 24-episodes drama is based on the legend of the first emperor of Korea. Moon So-ri plays the leading actress; and newcomer Lee Ji-ah is set to make her acting debut.
