Singaporean singer Tanya Chua will hold a solo concert on Sept 26 in Beijing.
The celebrated singer and songwriter made her debut 11 years ago. This will be her first ever concert in mainland China.
Hong Kong star Gillian Chung surprised the crowd when she opened a match for the 2008 FIBA Diamond Ball for Women last Tuesday in China’s Zhejiang Province.
That was her first public appearance in mainland China since her nude photo scandal in early 2008. The event organiser didn’t mention about her attendance until minutes before the match.

The drama is rumored to start showing in some South East Asia countries in September.
Korean actor Jo Hyun-jae is the latest A-list star to join the Korean army to fulfil his mandatory two-year military service. He was enlisted into the army on August 5.
