High-profile Taiwan celebrity couple Vic Zhou and Barbie Hsu has broken up.

Hsu confirmed the split via her assistant during an activity in Hong Kong on Monday, while Zhou’s agent also confirmed the news. Both have declined to make further comments.

Barbie Hsu’s mother told the media the couple parted amicably.

Barbie Hsu, 31, and Vic Zhou, 26, gained wide popularity through the 2001 hit television drama Meteor Garden. They collaborated in another series, Mars, in 2004, and officially began dating in July 2005.

Hong Kong TV actress Ada Choi is rumoured to marry her husband to be, Chinese actor Zhang Jing on this Saturday (Jan 12).

Ada has been keeping their wedding date a secret since announcing their marriage in December, but reports are that Zhang’s family members have arrived in Hong Kong (from Chongqing, China)… so it’s likely that they are getting married this weekend.

Regardless… they will be getting married sooner or later. Congrats in advance.

Koran actor Song Il-guk has officially announced the date of his wedding.

Song will marry his girlfriend, five years his junior, on March 15 at the Sheraton Grand Walkerhill Hotel. The couple have been dating for the past year and a half.

The wedding ceremony will be a private affair among close family and friends.

Song met his bride-to-be on location in 2006 when she was training to be a lawyer at the Judicial Research and Training Institute.

Song is currently taking some time off from work and preparing for his upcoming wedding. He plans to stay away from work for the time being and enjoy his honeymoon and marriage.
