Hong Kong actress Angela Tong was slapped by a stranger in public on Sunday (Jan 20).
Angela was taking a break while filming a new TV series in Wan Chai district when a stranger approached her and slapped her face without warning. The assaulter tried to run away after the incident but Angela’s male assistant managed to catch him before he could escape.
The assaulter was later arrested by the police and was held in custody while the police is investigating the incident.
Angela has expressed her shock and stated that she didn’t know the assaulter and has no idea why he had attacked her.
