A purported remake of the 1960s American TV series has been a street gossip. A recent report says Knocked Up film star, comic actor Seth Rogen, is in final talks with Columbia Pictures to play the title role, and Rogen wants Stephen Chow to play his sidekick Kato, a role immortalized by late Kungfu legend Bruce Lee.
A reporter with Beijing Morning Post contacted and sought confirmation from Chow’s production company, Star Overseas, on Monday, and got a negative answer from a spokesman.
“We haven’t got any information at this time. We don’t know who the director is and what the screenplay is like,” the spokesman said.

Popular Korean actor Kwon Sang-woo has agreed to feature in FNS 27 Hour TV, a special Japanese variety show that is going to be hosted by Shingo Katori from SMAP.

It is reported that Kwon Sang-woo has previously agreed personally to Shingo that he would appear on one of the shows he hosted… and he is fulfilling his promise this time.
Kwon Sang-woo is one of the most popular Korean stars in Japan. He starred in TV drama Stairway to Heaven, which was quite popular in Japan.
Besides 27 Hour TV, Kwon Sang-woo will also appear in another TV show, The Adventure King 2007.
