Hong Kong popular singer Gigi Leung travelled to India during Chinese New Year holiday with a few friends.

Gigi spent 7 days in India and visited lots of travel hotspots, including the famous Taj Mahal. Even though Gigi was dressed in Hindu costume, she was still noticed by lots of Asian tourists and was asked for photographed together.

Hong Kong TV star Charmaine Sheh’s driving license has been suspended for 6 months after a court rulling, for repetitive violation of traffic law.

It’s said that Charmaine had violated the traffic law 4 times in a year (May 2005 to May 2006). This is the 2nd time Charmaine’s driving license is suspended; she had her license suspended for 3 months in 2002 as well.
Not the best example shown by a celebrity; drive safe and follow the law, Charmaine.

Japanese stars Satoshi Tsumabuki and Kou Shibasaki are in Hong Kong to promote their latest movie Dororo.

The rumoured celebrity couple arrived at in HK last Saturday (Feb 24), but stayed at different hotels to avoid further rumours.
Dororo is based on same title classical manga from master Osamu Tezuka, and was filmed in New Zealand.

Zhang Ziyi and boyfriend Vivi Nevo were at a pre-Oscar fashion show by famous fashion house Armani.

Well if you have any doubts about the couple being together after the NBA game; this fashion show appearance should reassure that Ziyi and her new bf are getting serious.
Btw, it’s said that Ziyi’s boyfriend, Aviv Vivi Nevo is one of the richest man in New York.

Taiwan pop star Jay Chou was slammed by netizens for his stinginess while filming his debut movie The Secret That Cannot Be Told.
It happened when Jay was filming a graduation ceremony and hired 400 extras to portray as students… and only paid those extras ~USD1 per hour salary.
Most of the extras didn’t mind though, as their purpose was to see their idol Jay Chou in person. The netizens however are not happy and claimed that Jay was stingy and the production team was using Jay’s popularity to exploit young fans.

Taiwan artist Penny Lin will take on Beatrice’s role in her unfinished TV drama Daughter of the Sun.

Beatrice Xu passed away 2 weeks ago from a car accident. The TV drama production team has decided to keep Beatrice’s act in the TV drama, but has to adjust the script and fit in a replacement to continue Beatrice’s role.
Beatrice’s buddy like Ariel Lin, Penny and Rainie Yang had been rumoured to take on the role, and in the end it’s Penny that’s going to finish what Beatrice could never finished.
Penny Lin and Beatrice Xu were buddies even before started their entertainment career, so Penny should be the best option to complete Beatrice’s final piece.

Hong Kong pop stars Miriam Yeung and Sammi Cheng acted as if kissing each other when answering rumours about their conflict.
Earlier rumours indicated that Miriam and Sammi were in conflict to be crowned (unofficially) as their company top female singer. Both of them have denied the rumours and said that they are still good buddies.
Miriam and Sammi were in Vancouver, Canada to perform at a CCTV’s Spring Festival Show.
