Japanese actor Takashi Sorimachi is acting as legendary Mongolian emperor Genghis Khan in his latest movie, The Blue Wolf: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea, which is currently in filming.
Genghis Khan is the Mongolian emperor that conquered China centuries ago to form the Yuan Dynasty; and he conquered lands that stretched to as far as Poland in Europe, building one of the largest empires ever in human history.
Takashi Sorimachi is probably the best Japanese actor to portray as Genghis Khan; his macho image should fit the role well.
